The mutilator is a device specially designed to perform cuts and incisions on various garments in order to render such materials no longer wearable.

The material to be cut is manually loaded onto a conveyor belt driven by a gearmotor. The conveyor belt discharges the material into a hopper positioned above a cutting unit with circular blades that mutilate the material. The processed goods then fall by gravity into a cart previously placed under the work unit or onto a conveyor belt.
